LEO GUERRERO
With nearly two decades of coaching experience across the Midwest and northern United States, Coach Leo brings a uniquely diverse background to our club. He has served as the State Director of Recreational Soccer for both North Dakota and South Dakota and has coached youth players at nearly every level of the game.
His extensive club experience includes leading youth academies in South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Texas, where he also served as a staff coach. A goalkeeping specialist, Coach Leo dedicated several years to the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in Nebraska and the Dakotas. His leadership and commitment to player development led to an opportunity to serve as a club Director in Omaha, a role he held for two years.
In addition to his club experience, Coach Leo has five years of high school coaching experience and has been part of the coaching staff at three collegiate programs in Nebraska and South Dakota.
Coach Leo has been coaching club soccer since 2007, beginning as a volunteer coach while still in high school. His passion for the game has only grown stronger over time. He is committed to using soccer as a vehicle to instill valuable life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and work ethic. Through high-quality programming, he strives to create an environment where players are engaged, challenged, and—most importantly—develop a lifelong love for the game.
