Adrian forbes
Adrian Forbes has the honor of being the inaugural Sporting Director at Texoma FC. Forbes is an English former professional footballer that not only has a prestigious coaching background, but also an illustrious playing career highlighted with time at: Norwich City, Luton Town, Swansea City, Blackpool, Millwall, Grimsby Town, and Lowestoft Town. He also made two international appearances for the English U18 National Team.
Before joining Texoma FC, Forbes was the Head of Coaching and Player Development at former Premier League side Luton Town for five years, Forbes, in addition to his duties as Head of Coaching and Player Development, also lead the Luton Town development squad, overseeing the progress and development of players between the ages of 18 – 21. This additional role also saw Forbes oversee Luton’s maiden campaign in the Premier League Cup.
With a wealth of top flight experience in England as both a player, coach, and director, Forbes will be establishing a legacy that will be woven into the story of Texoma FC for years to come. A legacy that not only impacts the team, but one that leaves a lasting impression on the Texoma community.
Ben clarvis
Ben Clarvis is the Academy Director at Texoma FC and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a proven track record in player development, having previously served as the Director of Coaching at Ayses SC.
Currently, Ben is the head coach of the Denton Diablos in the NPSL, a semi-professional team playing in North Texas. His extensive coaching career also includes positions at Austin College, FC Cleburne, and Quincy College. He holds both a UEFA B Coaching License and a USSF B Coaching License, highlighting Ben’s constant pursuit for excellence. As a player, Ben’s achievements include multiple NCAA national tournament appearances and All-Region honors during his time at Midwestern State University.
Originally from England, Ben is now a proud Shermanite who embodies the essence of Texoma with his unwavering support for the community and his passion for sport.
