DENISON, TX – Texoma FC is pleased to announce that Ben Clarvis, the club’s current Academy Director, has been appointed Head Coach of Texoma FC. Coach Clarvis served as an assistant coach for Texoma FC in USL League One this past year.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to become the USL League Two head coach at Texoma FC while continuing my role as Academy Director,” said Clarvis. “This new chapter enhances the pathway for our youth and deepens our connection to the Texoma community. Our goal is to build a team that inspires the next generation and makes everyone in our academy and community proud.”
Clarvis joined Texoma FC in the summer of 2024 as the club’s inaugural Academy Director, where he oversaw all youth teams while also coaching his own squads. In January 2025, he became part of the first-team staff as an assistant coach during Texoma FC’s inaugural USL League One season, contributing to the club’s foundational campaign at the professional level.
Club President, Ben Watson said, “We’re proud to name Ben Clarvis as the new head coach of Texoma FC for our inaugural USL League Two season. His extensive coaching experience and proven track record in developing youth talent make him a natural fit for this role. We couldn’t be more excited to have Ben as a key part of what we’re building for the Texoma community.”
Prior to joining Texoma FC, Clarvis served as Director of Coaching at AYSES SC, Head Coach of USL League Two team Denton Diablos, and Assistant Coach at Austin College. A holder of both UEFA B and USSF B coaching licenses, he brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to player development. As a player, Clarvis earned multiple NCAA National Tournament appearances and All-Region honors at Midwestern State University. His dedication to developing local talent has strengthened youth soccer in the Texoma area and will continue to benefit the Texoma FC team.
Sharing his excitement, Clarvis said, “I’m happy to continue working in the Texoma region and continue working in the Texoma FC organization. I can’t wait to be a part of the next chapter in the club’s history.”
